Clicking: Life Magazine

14 Apr

Henry Luce must have been insane to call his magazine Life.  Talk about broad subject matter – I mean, I try to focus on art, architecture and photography on culturepublic and I still have content coming out my ears.  But Life?  Sheesh!

Over 70 years since their founding days (depending on who you ask and what magazine you are talking about), Life Magazine has launched a website, with photo-based stories on everything from America’s most pet-friendly cities to Celebrities on trial (such as the divine Ms Ryder, above). And keeping true to their slogan ‘Life in Pictures’, all images are sharable via embedded posting, making the site a blogger’s dream (never mind that I couldn’t get this function working; the site’s still in Beta phase and it’s the thought that counts).
